Highly aesthetic composite fillings

Thanks to many years of experience, we have developed precise protocols of treatments that make our fillings tight, durable and very aesthetic. We work in magnification, we take care of thorough cleaning of cavities, we use only composites from leading American and European manufacturers. As a result, our fillings function for many years in perfect condition. However, patients must be aware that even a perfectly placed composite filling has a limited life, which depends on the frequency of hygienisation, daily hygiene, caries undermining the filling from the other side of the tooth or occlusal conditions.

Inlay/onlay, overlay

If the destruction of the tooth crown is large (approx. 25-50%), but not yet so large that it is necessary to insert a prosthetic crown, an alternative to the usual filling is the inlay made by a dental technician in the laboratory. It is made of a technical composite that has better physical properties than what we can put directly in the mouth. This is due to the technological process (temperature, humidity) that can only be obtained in a laboratory. Such an inlay has a shape that perfectly imitates a tooth and is individually designed for your neighboring teeth.

ICON – minimally invasive caries treatment with the use of resin infiltration

Caries infiltration with ICON bridges the gap between prophylaxis and filling. It involves the use of an acidic agent to slightly enlarge the pores in the enamel attacked by bacteria, and then the resin is introduced and hardened in these pores, which carefully fills and prevents further caries. This agent optically melts the lesion with healthy enamel, making the lesions invisible and the teeth regaining their natural appearance. Caries will no longer develop at the site of ICON application.
Note: If you are also planning to whiten your teeth, it should be done BEFORE doing the ICON. Bleaching agents will not work on the resin that will be inside the enamel.
